Mikah Thompson, MD

Dr. Thompson graduated with her bachelor’s degree in biology from Colorado State University, and she received her medical degree from St. Christopher Iba Mar Diop College of Medicine in Luton, England. Dr. Thompson completed her residency training in pediatrics through the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans, part of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She is a board-certified pediatric hospitalist.

Dr. Thompson is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and she has served as a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics with Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Prior to joining The Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart, she worked as a pediatric hospitalist and pediatric service chief with Baton Rouge General Medical Center, as well as senior pediatric hospitalist with children’s international medical group.
