Emily Wells, PharmD is a 2013 graduate of McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduation, she completed a PGY-1 pediatric pharmacy residency at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Sacred Heart Hospital. Emily is currently the clinical pharmacist for the Pediatric and Adult Outpatient Infusion Therapy Centers at Sacred Heart and serves as the preceptor for the Outpatient IVT rotation. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, order processing and dispensing of all infusions for the outpatient IV therapy units, pharmacokinetic management in the outpatient setting and counseling all new patients in the infusion centers. She also works closely with the pediatric hematologist/oncologist to help manage the pediatric outpatient chemotherapy on a daily basis.
