Crystal Thompson is from Tallahassee, FL and is a graduate of Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is a board certified oncology pharmacist and works primarily with the multidisciplinary teams on the oncology unit. With over ten years of service at Sacred Heart Health Systems hospital, she also has significant experience in a variety of other public health arenas including cardiac, geriatric and women’s health. Her primary responsibilities include review of chemotherapy regimens and dosages, review of pertinent labs and tests, and monitoring surrounding medications for interactions and side effects. She serves as the preceptor for the Oncology learning experiences for both pharmacy students and residents.
