APPLICATION PROCESS

We are so excited to begin the long awaited application review! We, like all Residency Programs, will be working to complete our usual application review as quickly and efficiently as possible. We will actively be reviewing as many applications as possible through October 9, 2024. We plan on extending as many interview invitations as we can between October 10, 2024 and December 20, 2024. If you have not heard from our program regarding your application status by December 20, 2024, please feel free to follow up with us at dgretzinger@ascension.org. Applicants chosen to interview with our program will be notified via email through ERAS.

Our virtual interviews will run from October 16, 2024 through January 15, 2025. We do not offer more interviews than we have capacity for, but if you are offered an interview with our program, we ask that you schedule it within three business days. In support of local and national recommendations, the Department of Pediatrics is solely conducting virtual interviews for the 2025 residency application cycle. Our programs will not grant in-person interviews as per guidance from APPD / COMSEP / AMSPDC / FuturePedsRes / NextGenPediatricians.

Commitment to populations that are under-represented in medicine:
Our program is committed to training exceptional pediatric residents from all racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, gender, and sexual orientation backgrounds.
