Prepare for your RESIDENCY APPLICATION
Applying to residencies can be a complicated set of steps and decisions. We are here to help.
APPLICATION PROCESS
For the 2024-2025 application cycle, all OBGYN Residency Programs will be participating in ResidencyCAS. OBGYN applicants will use ResidencyCAS to:
- Apply to OBGYN residency programs
- Signal OBGYN programs
- Request documents supporting the application, such as MSPEs, transcripts, LORs/SLOEs, and USMLE scores
- Schedule and participate in virtual interviews with programs
Please include the following in your application:
- Your class rank, if known;
- Your cumulative GPA (if your school uses a letter or numeric grading scale);
- Actual scores on USMLE Steps 1 and 2 (Required for all applicants). If Step 2 has not been taken, please indicate when you intend to take it. Please note that applicants must take the USMLE series exams and must successfully pass Steps 1 and 2 prior to graduation. Osteopathic physicians are welcome to apply, but must have USMLE Step 1 & 2 scores posted.
- Dean’s Letter
- At least two letters from faculty members, with one being an obstetrician-gynecologist.
